If you have a new or even an older model, the rattling noise may be a sign that something is wrong with your appliance. When this becomes a problem, you should take immediate action to solve it and keep your air fryer cooking in good conditions for years to come.
Make sure the air fryer basket has been properly inserted into the enclosure: It’s not uncommon to remove and replace the basket several times when preparing food in it; however, placement of the fryer basket should ensure proper alignment with magnets on both sides of its enclosure. Make sure they fit together snuggly and line up perfectly.
The lid should close easily and stay closed without any problems: Any major issues could indicate that there is some sort of issue with the lid itself and that you should get in touch with the company. The rattling noise could also indicate a problem with other parts of the appliance, such as the fryer basket or heating element. Check both and make sure they are properly attached and aligned: You might need to take apart and reassemble your air fryer again by following the user manual.
