A couple of weeks ago I bought the newest version of the GoWise USA 3.7 qt Air Fryer, Model: GW22621 to replace my old 2 quart air fryer because it could not fit a whole cut-up chicken without me having to flip it at least once in order for both sides to crisp up properly . This was very bothersome and frustrating! I don’t like flipping things when cooking. The size of this new model is so much larger than my previous one that it will easily hold a whole bird (as well as any other large food item) which makes me extremely happy!
However, I’m sorry to say that after frying various in the new airfryer model (both fresh and frozen), I’ve noticed that the cooking time is approximately 30-40 minutes or more for skinless, boneless chicken breasts.
This was not my experience with using my previous air fryer. I was expecting fried chicken to be perfectly crisp on the outside after a maximum of 20 minutes total time since it takes me roughly 10-12 minutes to fry off 4 pieces of breaded boneless, skinless chicken at 350 degrees in an electric deep fryer in my kitchen.
Now I’m back to square one! I’m wondering if just by looking at this new airfryer whether it’s large enough that I should have purchased something bigger.
