How to shred cabbage food processor?

This is a question that I heard repeatedly. It is true that the cabbage, whether green or red, has large leaves and it is quite difficult to finely cut them with knives. If you would like to shred cabbage using an electrical device, then your choice will be food processor.

1- How to Shred Cabbage Using Food Processor ?

Food processors can do various things such as cutting vegetables into pieces or even making dough for cakes. For those who are wondering how to use their food processors when they need to shred cabbage, here are some steps below:

The first thing you should do is set the food processor. So, you need to push the button for it to run continuously before inserting the cabbage leaves into it so that they can be shredded easily.

If the leaf is too big, cut it a bit. Afterward, put them inside and wait until they are well shredded. If your machine doesn’t have a shredding blade, then you may need to change blades or push ingredients through with a plastic dough or spatula so that everything will go smoothly.

2- Cabbage Food Processor Shredding Method

1- Inserting Ingredients : Whether you want to shred only cabbage or other vegetables as well such as carrots, cucumbers, you need to cut them first. So the steps are as below:

2- Leaves : Put some leaves inside your processor bowl. Then push them down with pusher tool or spatula so that they can be processed appropriately.

3- Running Processor : Check whether your machine starts running continuously. If not, press “On” button to start it.

4- Shredding Cabbage : After several minutes of processing, stop the machine and check whether your cabbage is well shredded or not. If not completely done yet, keep on running until it’s perfect for you.

5- Cleaning Process : Clean all parts including pieces/parts more thoroughly especially blades before storing in clean place far from children so that it is safe enough.

6- The Result : Your cabbage should be finely shredded now.
