Chicken tenders are crunchy. They cook quickly. That means that they can become dry and a little bit crumbly if not cooked properly in the air fryer – or any other method for that matter, including deep frying them in oil. In order to avoid this you have to pre-cook them a bit before cooking them in the air fryer.
The process is just that easy! Follow these guidelines and you’ll get perfect, juicy Tyson chicken tenders every time:
• Place frozen Tyson chicken tenders in an Air Fryer basket or tray. Drizzle 1-2 teaspoons of oil evenly over them. Season with salt/pepper generously.
Toss lightly until coated in oil and spices.
• Set Air Fryer to 360°F for 10 minutes if you want them crispy (depends on how crunchy you like your chicken) or to 350°F for 12-15 minutes if you want them softer, thicker and with a bit more moisture.
