If the food is dry, you could probably put it in an Airfryer. The batter will likely crisp up to a point that’s too crispy for most people. It’s one of those yay or nay things where it’ll depend on your tastes and preferences.
Breading a piece of fried chicken is a good example. The crisps can be satisfying if you prefer them because there are plenty of little openings so the coating doesn’t soften up too much before getting baked for flavor and texture.
If you like a fluffier, pillowlike exterior to your fried chicken (it’s very hot in the middle), then you may not like it. It’s all up to individual tastes and preferences. You can always try it out and see how you feel about it. Maybe stick with the traditional oven-frying method if you love crispy fried foods but don’t like how Airfryer does it.
