Can Air Fryer Replace Microwave

The air fryer and microwave have some different functions. The heating method, size, speed, and capacity differentiate both microwave and air fryer. Microwaves produce microwaves which help to vibrate the food molecules while the air fryer works with a heating coil.  An air fryer is more heater as compared to the microwave and offers crispy food. When you make fries and other things you bake you don’t need any oil in the case of an air fryer while you need the bit oil when you bake something in the microwave.

Cooking Procedure of Air Fryer and Microwave:

The air fryer has a heating element that absorbs moisture from food and as the result crispy and regularly cooked food. Air fry cook food using hot air.As the temperature of the air extends over 320 F. 

While microwave cooks food procedure lies upon radiation, molecules of the food start moving and vibrating when microwave starts to radiates the food. As the quick vibration occurs these molecules start to heat up. It means microwave to heat or cooks food from the inside first and then outside. Microwave is considered best for liquid foods, you can boil water milk and make tea and coffee.

Both air fryer and microwave have a bit different cooking results, microwave used to reheat earlier cooked or pre-cooked food, while air fryer allows preparing something crispy or crunchy.

Microwave Oven

Power Consumption:

Air fryers are considered less power-consuming. An air fryer uses power between 1250-1500 watts. While microwave uses power about 12000 watts. It also requires 6 watts of additional power while on standby mode power, the air fryer does not need any power on standby mode.

Massive Difference:

Some features make these two appliances more different from each other. The microwave has a rotating plate that shows to its user the food is cook or not. Moreover, it has a bulb to makes enable the user, they can see the cooking food through the glass door rightly.

Air fryer work is different, it offers a basket and needs no oil to cook crispy things. The air fryer makes more heat than fry the things more and instantly. Due to its lightweight and compact design you can store an air fryer easily.

Cooking Capacity:

The sizes of these two gadgets are also different, air fryer has a small size and small size cooking capacity as compared to the microwave. So if you want to cook for a lot of people then you should use the microwave.
