Ingredients: 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon paprika, 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional), 3 large eggs, 4 chicken breasts (about 2 lbs.), vegetable oil spray.
Preparation time: 10 min. Cooking time: 15 min. Total: 25 min.
Direction:
- Preheat your air fryer to 330 degrees F, using the vegetable setting. Line a plate with paper towels and set aside.
2. In one shallow dish, place 1/4 cup flour along with paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne (if desired). In a separate shallow dish, place the eggs and beat them with a fork to combine.
3. Cut each chicken breast into 3 long strips. Place in the flour mixture and toss to coat on both sides, shaking off any excess flour as you remove them from the bowl. Next dip in the egg mixture, making sure they are fully coated. Finally, coat once again in the flour mixture and place in the air fryer basket. Spray the top of chicken with oil spray before closing the basket.
4. Let chicken cook for 12 minutes. Remove from air fryer and let sit on a paper towel lined plate for an additional 3-5 minutes to allow any excess grease to be absorbed by the paper towel. Enjoy!
