This is another recipe that just takes a couple of minutes to put together, and then you air fry it for 12 minutes. And just like that, you have delicious chicken tenders without worrying about unhealthy oils and added ingredients. If you’re not familiar with the Air Fryer yet, check out my post on why I love using mine.
Air fryer chicken tenders no egg:
Ingredients: 3 large boneless chicken breasts, 1/2 cup almond flour (or your favorite gluten free flour), 1/4 teaspoon salt, dash of pepper & garlic powder, 2 eggs (beaten), and cooking oil spray
Start by cutting your chicken breasts into 1/2 inch strips. Make sure all the pieces are the same size so that they’ll cook evenly. I then put them in a ziplock bag and add my almond flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Shake it up to coat the chicken evenly (you can also add other seasonings if you prefer) and set aside. Add your beaten eggs to another ziplock bag and then place the bag of seasoned chicken into the egg bag and seal it up. Shake until all the pieces are coated with egg. Shake off as much excess egg as possible before adding them to your air fryer basket. Spray the chicken with your cooking oil spray and then put them into your air fryer basket. I set my timer for 12 minutes at 360 degrees. If you have a smaller or larger chicken breast, adjust cooking time accordingly.
When it’s done, serve up as many as you need and enjoy!
